Forces that limit potential
There are a lot of forces that can limit your potentials
First of all what is potential ?
Do you want to go through life fulfilled ? If your answer is yes then I want you to read carefully what I will be saying from now on because for your happiness, peace and fulfilment you must posses your possession and fulfil your destiny.
God has given to every one a particular gift it is your duty to find out which is yours, failure to do this is the reason for confusion and frustration.
It is a tragedy for you to go through life without finding out your gifting and talents .That which you are good at, that which you can do very well even with little effort .
There are negative forces that can limit potential. It doesnt matter if you believe it or not but it is a fact of life. To limit is to stop increase. It is to draw a line and say thus far can you go. To limit is to bottle up. To be limited is to be stagnant.
Below are forces that can limit your potential .
(1) Unbelief :
Some people have given up on so many things that are crucial to success in life, maybe because they have tried several times and it didn't work out .
Here is a short story about the research that was carried out in a university in united state, where they put a rat inside a bottle and covered it up and set fire beneath the bottle.
There are a lot of forces that can limit your potentials
First of all what is potential ?
- Your potential is what you are destined to become but you haven't become yet
- Your potential is your unrecognised gifts and talents .
- Your potential can be the sleeping giant inside of you.
- Your potential is where you can go but haven't gone there yet .
- Your potential is your unused strength .
- Your potential is your obscure possibilities .
- Your unwritten books etc .
Do you want to go through life fulfilled ? If your answer is yes then I want you to read carefully what I will be saying from now on because for your happiness, peace and fulfilment you must posses your possession and fulfil your destiny.

- It is a shame for a teacher to die as a student
- It is a shame for an eagle to die as a chicken
- It is a shame for multi millionaire to die as a poor boy .
- It is a shame to for someone to have a gift of writing but never wrote nothing
- It is a shame for a king to be a savant
- It is a shame for the wise to die foolishly
- It is a shame for and employer to die as an employee.

Below are forces that can limit your potential .
(1) Unbelief :
Some people have given up on so many things that are crucial to success in life, maybe because they have tried several times and it didn't work out .
Here is a short story about the research that was carried out in a university in united state, where they put a rat inside a bottle and covered it up and set fire beneath the bottle.
The rat kept trying to jump out of the bottle but couldnt obviously because the bottle was covered. After some time they uncover the bottle for the rat to jump out but the rat has stop jumping and trying to get out.
why ?
Well, some say reasons best known to the rat but after the same routine with other rats there was an agreed conclusion that the rat gave up because few times he tried jumping out was unsuccessful, so when the bottle was open he failed to realise it or give it a go again. that's how our life can be some times.
My advice is that you have to keep believing that nothing is impossible to you. Give it your all and leave the rest to God. There are two people in life you must believe in. One is God and two is yourself. Keep believing today, it doesn't matter how many times you have tried, keep your head high and have faith because nothing is impossible.
(2) Pride :
I am sure we all must have read or experience how pride goes before fall, It is very true. Pride will cut you off and bring you down, I remember the word pride goeth before a fall, because my mother wrote those words so bold on our kitchen wall, she did her best as a mother but it was my fault for not taking it serious and I had to learn the hard way. I know what pride is because I have been there and am speaking with experience.
Pride will give you sleepless night. pride will make you oversensitive. when pride is present you can't be free with yourself or anyone. I am sure a lot of us can relate to this and not get confuse because there is a big difference between healthy self esteem and pride.
When you are proud you are telling others you are better than them , when you are proud its difficult to be remorseful over wrongdoing .
In the eye of a proud man or woman he or she is always right and all others are wrong, Proud people can't take criticism, Proud people lack respect for themselves and others around them.
Pride attracts antagonism and hatred to your life. Do you always want to be first ? Do you always want to speak or be heard even when not necessary?
Take a good look Inwardly as you read today and work on yourself because pride can limit your potential. Search your motives remember God hate pride.
(3) Fear
What are you afraid of search it out and deal with it. Your fear is not real in most cases the main aim of fear is to stop you from making progress. God has not given you the spirit of fear but of sound mind, so be careful for nothing but in all thing be Prayerful Believing and be Bold.
(4) Laziness
Laziness will limit you severely go for what so ever you want in life with a mindset of hard work, Life's not fair "he who will not work should not eat, Man is put on earth to work hard, and not to be Indolent.
(5) Scriptural ignorance : personally:
I believe there is no In-between, it's either you believe in God or you believe in something else, If you believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ, you must make effort in knowing the word of God because Information is power, ignorance Is not an excuse. The word of God builds you up, shines light into darkness, makes you know whom you really are, A God, because your are a child of God. with that awareness, nothing can limit you.
(6) Lack of wisdom knowledge and power
Three things that can get you whatever you want in life are Wisdom, Knowledge and Power, knowledge can teach you how to use and operate a gun,but wisdom and power is what is needed when there is a reason to pull the trigger. look for them today.
(7) Anger
Anger is in the mind of fools. Anger can make you a loser. when you get angry easily you are not in control of yourself or your life as a whole because anger is in control, As such it is difficult to make a clear and distinctive decision when angry
